Solstice Sprint events are very accessible and based on the vibrant community Liam has created. The beautiful route will highlight so much of the UK’s rich history, culture and landscapes. Recommended for any kind of ultra rider, everybody can find something for them in these events!

Loved this event from start to finish. Loved how the media they had didn’t only focus on the pointy end of the race. Felt inclusive. Would be great to have had a few more people come together for the pre race food but appreciate people have different time pressures. Would highly recommend. The route was sublime. Never felt like it was going somewhere for the sake of the distance or elevation. Well put together.

This was my first time taking part in any kind of Ultra event and I could not have felt more welcome, by Liam and his team, but also the other participants!

Liam has managed to create a welcoming, accessible event which is a brilliant entry to ultra racing for folk. It also attracts a competitive field- managing to do both, all the while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere of care is really impressive. Thank you!

This was my second ultra and I was impressed with the low key but very efficient vibe. Liam has got the tone just right. Incredible organisation without over bearing multiple instructions and advisories.
It was far more welcoming that APN and riders on route were far more engaging with me.
To be greeted by Liam and friends as I finished was a real human touch and I was quite touched by it.
The WhatsApp was helpful and the route flow was incredible. I enjoyed the variety of the terrain. Yes the coast road was busy but in 1000 km there had to be some busy roads. I was using the ride to train for LEL and have now moved even further up North to Northumberland otherwise I would consider returning. The media coverage on instagram was pitch perfect too.

Watching a blazing orange Summer Solstice sunset on consecutive days is a rare treat but this ride delivered all sorts of treats in spades, challenging climbs with awesome views and more. A true boastworthy experience.
